Having a good environment for your employees is very important. When you have a great environment at your business or within your company it makes for a more productive work force. When your environment is a negative one it causes employees to not want to be productive. It may even take them to a point where they do not like their job. Having a good environment for your employees is one of the most important things in your business environment so that you have happy employees who want to succeed!

I love this article, I am currently president of my organization and one of my first challenges was to find out how to make each persons talent and skills work not only to my benefit but also to theirs. As a leader you must learn each persons strengths and weaknesses and help them use their strengths to effectively reduce their weaknesses. IF you create situations that ultimately help you achieve your goal and put a person in the right environment where they are highly confident you instantly see results. If a person enjoys what they are doing you’ll find out that the person will become more efficient and eventually make your (the leader) job easier at then end.

I agree with leaders being the ones responsible for their employees not working to the maximum extent of their abilities. It is the responsibility of the leader to inspire his employees and make them want to be successful for the business. They have to make the employees want the business to be the best. Its just like any good war movie or the military in general. When the fighting starts the leader of the company has to have the ability to make others follow them into whatever situation they find themselves in. If one person falters it may start to infect the rest and make them falter. My meaning is this, the leader of a company should be able to motivate anyone not committed to the business so they don't start to make other people less interested in doing well at their job.

LINK #10 INSTANT MBA: Good Bosses Know How Important It Is For Their
Employees To Feel Connected
Mrs Erika’s ideas make a lot of since to me. If a leader can make your job more
fun and also emphasize how good of job you are doing, you will tend to work harder
and better. If you think your leader believes in you then you will tend to believe in
yourself as well. If all you hear all day is how badly people are doing at work, or how
people doing what needs to be done, then you will be on the defensive. You don’t
know if they are referring to you. Are you the one who isn’t doing well? If the leader
keep the atmosphere positive the employees will tend to work better in my opinion.

Instant MBA: Good Bosses Know How Important It Is For Their Employees To Feel Connected
Creating an environment that allows people to thrive takes a particular skill set that not every boss possesses. This article demonstrates that to develop this skill set a boss must learn and grow his/her patience and knowledge of their employees. The common approach is to be approachable with employees and ask them to volunteer information about themselves. If the employee begins to take on more responsibility when they first begin employment, then they will grow more confident and will begin to volunteer to take on more responsibility later. This will make each employee feel important, and with a sense of importance and loyalty to an organization most employees will branch out to other employees to support them as well; this is how organizations become more inter-connected.

Instant MBA: Good Bosses Know How Important It Is For Their Employees To Feel Connected
As a manager i agree with this article 100%. I try to make coming to work fun for my employees and make the want to succeed. I do this by giving my employees incentives and goals to accomplish. We also play different types of games at works to keep the employees happy. Employees are what make your business what it is, and because of this you should give them reasons to want to excel.

Leaders are people who are ahead of their peers but close enough to relate to them on an everyday basis. It is important that leaders don't become too busy to where they can't relate with the people they are leading. This sense of connection makes a leader what he is. The connection inspires people to be like you and excel.

INSTANT MBA: Good Bosses Know How Important It Is For Their Employees To Feel Connected
A lot of managers need to read this article. I think managers understand this concept, however, lack the proper steps to make it happen in the workplace. As much as managers stress the goals of the company, they should stress the importance of balance. It is a give and take situation. Give employees a comfortable and involved work setting, and they will be more apt to produce what you need to reach the goals of the company.

Managers are always telling employees what they are doing wrong every once in a while tell me what I'm doing right. Leaders I completely agree that have to focus on the overall not just end result if they noticed how you as an employee got to your conclusion. Employees respond well to positivity not negativity. Negativity puts employees on the defensive rather than making them think I did that well let me do this task just as well. Managers it is your responsibility to set the tone of your business.

INSTANT MBA: Good Bosses Know How Important It Is For Their Employees To Feel Connected
I really liked this article. I can completely relate as an employee who works directly under someone else. As a boss, you should always let your employees know what they bring to your company and what skills they have that make them as asset to you. Helping them feel connected builds confidence. You should also guide them in order to help them build more skills or if they have certain weaknesses, help them build their confidence in those areas. If they are doing something wrong, help them understand why they are doing somethng wrong and ways they can improve.
