INSTANT MBA: Put Yourself In Uncomfortable Situations If You Want To Succeed
One thing all people should avoid is always staying in their comfort zone. Making yourself uncomfortable and venturing out into the unknown challenges you to find out things about yourself and your surroundings that you may never have known if you would have continued to stay in your comfort zone. Being put in a unfamiliar situation allows you to expand your horizons and will help you to be a better rounded person, manager, business owner, or neither!

INSTANT MBA: Put Yourself In Uncomfortable Situations If You Want To Succeed
By getting comfortable with the uncomfortable, you can go very far. Forcing yourself to be put into uncomfortable situations can really help you develop skills to deal with a crisis. This allows you to learn to deal with pressure and to respond adequately in these types of situations. If you always play it safe, you will likely be afraid when thrown into an uncomfortable or unsure atmosphere and this can lead to you making a poor or rash decision.

INSTANT MBA: Don't Become Paralyzed In The Middle Of A Crisis
The article explains how you shouldn't be scared to make decisions in the middle of a crisis. Bad things happen all the time and you shouldn't be scared to make a decision when they do. If you make a bad decision it is okay because you can learn from your mistake and move on. Not making decisions are worst than making bad decisions because you will wonder what would of happen if you chose to make a decision.

INSTANT MBA: Maintain Your Original 'Fire,' But Have A Plan Moving Forward
I think this article takes on an important issue for a company to push forward while still keeping the original plan alive. Pushing forward is probably the most valuable part of a business plan, but unless the original idea is still alive, it is hard to know where to go with the new approach.

I would say don't be paralyzed, but do be cautious of the decisions that you make during a crisis. The most important thing is to not freeze up because you could be missing an opportunity. As a leader you have to show the employees that you are tough and brave. You should try not to show weakness or fear because then they will start to become afraid.

INSTANT MBA: Put Yourself In Uncomfortable Situations If You Want To Succeed
I liked this article. I really believe by doing something that you certainly don’t want to do will build your character while also making you realize that it’s never as bad as it seems. I think that most of the time, people don’t want to do something because they don’t fully understand it, or they’ve had a bad experience with it in the past. Teaching yourself to overcome this uncomfortableness wll only benefit you in the long run because there will ALWAYS be something that you really don’t want to do but you have to.

INSTANT MBA: Don't Become Paralyzed In The Middle Of A Crisis
It is important that, as a leader, you keep your composure during a crisis. During past major company crisises, the major mistake made my top management, was that they did not immediately take action, they instead hid from the public. When crisises happen it is important to act immediately by ensuring your employees and customers that the situation is under control. Even if you aren't sure how to fix the problem, tell everyone it is going to be okay and then meet with your team immediately and come up with ideas on how to fix the issue at hand.

INSTANT MBA: Put Yourself In Uncomfortable Situations If You Want To Succeed If a manager puts him or herself through harsh situations regularly, when a big issue comes up, it isn’t a big deal. Managers are able to cope with the office being hectic, and is still able to stay clear when making decision. Adaptation is the breeding ground for innovation and change, and hiring managers want to see potential employees having the ability to adjust on the fly.

I definitely like what this guy is saying. Being able to operate and succeed under stress. "Once you’ve learned to operate in that environment, you become adept in ways you never anticipated and your thought patterns begin to evolve rapidly." Anyone who can continue to deliver under stress has some skill. At my work things tend to go wrong or get hectic sometimes. I’ve had moments where I’ve felt overwhelmed but then I’ll talk to a superior and there calm as can be. Sometimes they will even laugh about it. This definitely inspires hard work and confidence

INSTANT MBA: Put Yourself In Uncomfortable Situations If You Want To Succeed
I've always been a firm believer that being put in situations outside of your comfort zone will help you succeed better in difficult situations even within your comfort zone. As I've always been told, and as this article discusses, practice makes perfect. If you never put yourself out there, you will never become comfortable in those awkward or uncomfortable situations.

INSTANT MBA: Put Yourself In Uncomfortable Situations If You Want To Succeed This article offers one of the most interesting advices I have ever read. I have always believed that to find success we have to take risks and challenge ourselves. Also, I learned that due to current economic conditions around the world, people who are able to adapt to the environment are the same individuals who will have more chances of finding the best jobs. I left my comfort zone in my home country to pursue educational goals abroad, and this experience have nurtured my old skills and given me new ones. I became aware of the importance of being capable of communicating with people from different cultures, and I hope that I will be ready to assume a challenging job anywhere in the world.

INSTANT MBA: Maintain Your Original 'Fire,' But Have A Plan Moving Forward
I like this article a lot. Its a good point that never is your fire hotter than when you first start your business. Most of that is becasue all you have on that first day is optimism for the future, and excitement about new things. As time goes by, you realize there are hard times, and ups and downs, and after a while, its not a new thing anymore. If you let yourself forget the beginning, the end will come quicker than you would like.
