The Wine Cellars
Small businesses are rooted in every community. I love to support small businesses, because big corporations tend to treat customers like numbers. Small businesses tend to have great relationships with their consumers. They let people know that their business is appreciated.

If you own a small business or want to have a small business, this video is very informative. Embracing your local community can help your small business become successful. They can sometimes help you when your company is down like the lady in the video with her wine shop. So overall embrace in your local community and communicate with the people who live the your local community.

As a small company, the neighborhood they are in and the surrounding communities are their business. Marketing to these people and building a relationship with them is what keeps customers returning and spreading word of the business to others that they know. It is very important for these small businesses to have the local support behind them for when times get tough, they'll still have customers who are loyal to them, keeping them afloat.

This video shoes that customers and the people that you do cater to matter. These people matter because they can help you get things done when you need them to, not because they have to but they want to. They community is what makes a small business thrive or die without the communities involvement in a wine shop they will not be able to survive.'one can learn for this video to treat your community how they wanted to be treated.

I completely agree with this video. My family owns a small business in a small town and it is really important to be involved within the community. My parents have always been very active and know almost every single person within the community. This make business more personal. Their customers appreciate when my Dad asks them about their family or hobbies. It makes them more loyal customers. I feel that the advice in this video is especially for small businesses.

this video points out that small business is all about your neighborhood. Help with local charity and pitch in and help in the community. This lady was not able to sell wine by the glass so she went to the city and worked with them, and now is able to serve wine. If this change didnt happen she would have lost her business. This is a great example of why it is so important to get to know your customer and help the community if you own a small business.

The Wine Cellars: Embrace your local community
The takeaway from this video is that you need to know and appreciate your neighborhood. But she failed to explained how the business is helping or appreciating the local community.I like the idea that you need to be flexible and understanding to local people because this are the people who shop in your shop all the time.

The Wine Cellars: Embrace your local community
I enjoy going to small businesses although their products or services may cost more, the experience there is priceless. I try to support small local businesses because the community is the reason why their doors remain open. I feel they develop relationships with their customers to make them feel valued. As a community, it is great to support them because of what they offer, which you cannot put a price tag on:)

The message I took away from the video is the importance of community involvement and support. When everyone is connected and one one accord to support one another, you'll be successful. Giving back to your community shows a sense of pride of where you first started as well as showing your customers you appreciate them. Big box stores are taking over and it's nice to shop locally at your small town businesses.

Small businesses are located all over but sometimes people just focus of the big name brand stores. In this video she spoke on the importance of small businesses connecting with the community in order to keep the business going, but this would be important for a business of any size. If a business doesn't connect and help out around the community it is in, then the business probably won't get far. The local customers wouldn't feel like they should give their time and money to the company, if the company wouldn't do the same. This is a very easy principal that should be remembered throughout one's career.

The Wine Cellars: Embrace your local community
I really enjoyed this video getting to see this small business thrive with the help and support of its local customers. I am a supporter of small business and a proponent of buying 'small' whenever possible. Many of my favorite shops and restaurants are local small businesses that have thrived with the support of the city of Hammond and its consumers. In fact when I choose restaurants, I always choose local favorites, and I purchase almost all of my clothing a Change Clothes, a local trendy second-hand store in the downtown Hammond area. Entrepreneurs who open small businesses are our neighbors and local townspeople, and I feel it is important to support the local economy as much as possible.

Being a small business means you need the help and support of your local community in order to keep your business up and running. Getting the feedback from consumers is important and valuable to your business. This clip interviewed a business owner who had to go as far as to getting the local laws changed so she could allow her customers to have wine samples before buying. This business owner would not have gone through all of this trouble if it wasn't to achieve something her consumers were wanting. Her business is still thriving because she did what she had to do to cater to her market. I think if you truly care about your consumers they will respond in a positive way and are willing to be supportive through any change.
