I know the older people have more money to use to invest in their business but a lot of young people really good fresh ideas to be an entrepreneur.

This video talks about 5 successful traits of entrepreneurs. The first one is that they're psychopaths. They'll do whatever it takes to succeed. The second is that they have adhd. They can't sit still so they have to start their own business. The third is that they live in the middle of nowhere. The fourth is that they're mostly old, from 50 to 60 age group. Lastly they may be immigrants.

i definitely would share this link with friends and colleagues. Thank you Professor. I think the biggest thing to take from this video is that entrepreneurs think outside the box and the mainstream. They sometimes are not traditional people and think and work overtime to be successful. Successful entrepreneurs that are extremely well known work extremely hard and are structured in being persistent on being successful. I lmow of someone who had a dream of opening an online website and through some redtape now is a successful entrepreneur that sells Costa Rican products on the internet

I enjoyed the facts in this video. I found it most interesting that there is a higher rate of innovative thinking for people who live "in the middle of nowhere." I can't say conclusively why this is, but perhaps fewer distractions than a big city leave more thinking for thinking, learning , and innovation.

Personally, I would like to know the backing of all these claims. The video’s main message is entrepreneurs come in various forms! While this can be uplifting, to a degree, it can also be antagonizing…as I don’t believe entrepreneurs need to be any of these things to be successful. I wish the traits presented were more reasonable and adoptable. For example, all of the five traits prove meaningless to me as I am young, not a psychopath, do not have ADHD, live in a suburb, and speak English as my primary language. The video, while interesting, does benefit me much!

TITLE- 5 Surprising Traits of Successful Entrepreneurs
This video was interesting. It is shocking to hear that successful entrepreneurs are commonly ADHD and have a much higher tendency to take part in deviant behavior. This video changed my perception of what traits a successful entrepreneur attained, but this video also seemed a bit random. I’m sure that there are many other statistical inferences that can be made about this group, but honestly, who really cares?

Well im not really shocked by these traits at all. Of course some of the most successful people are psycho. They would have to be when managing all the stress that must come with being at the top. They have to live in the middle of nowhere to get any peace. Its no secret that other countries have better education and less sense of entitlement than we do so some of our successful people would come from other countries.

Five traits of successful entrepreneurs are not what I expected. They are older, live far out from town, and English may be there second language… I would think the opposite. When they said live out of center of the town, I would think that they would be in the center of town and know the in’s and out’s of the market. You wouldn’t think they would have ADHD. Surprising video.

This was a great video. It provided information that was easy to understand. I don’t think I can apply much from this video to my career but it is always interesting to hear of characteristics of successful people. However, all of these traits can’t be applied to one individual. Therefore, I really don’t find it very useful since all of the traits were independent of each other.

Well the video does list some traits, but it is very subjective and lacks a lot of vital information to support those traits. For instance, claiming that their are more old people who are successful entrepreneurs than young people is very surprising. How many of those businesses were start ups when they were old, and how many were started when they were younger and gradually got successful as time went on? Also how many of those people failed at businesses prior and finally accumulated the wisdom to get a successful business started? I'd take this video with a grain of salt.

Well these were surprising traits for entrepreneurs. However, I think some of these traits are circumstantial. For instance, the first trait implied that they are more likely to make unethical decisions. I think that entrepreneurs or upper management just has more opportunity to make unethical choices. Being in charge gives you more responsibility and choices to make, so obviously there will be a higher risk of fraudulent behavior. Also, the fact that entrepreneurs are old is circumstantial. Starting a business takes money, which you are more likely to have at an older age. This video was surprising, but I do not agree with all of it.

These are some interesting facts about entrepreneurs. It was interesting to find out that they are more likely to behave unethically. The video stated that most are from Oklahoma or Montana. Foreigners are more likely to be self employed than natives. Entrepreneurial activity is credited to the 55-64 age group rather than the 20-24 age group. Those with ADHD are more likely to start their own business probably due to the impulsiveness they have.

These are very interesting traits. I would not have guessed that these people were phychopaths, ADHD, live in the middle of nowhere. I can beleive they are old, because you typically need money or credit to start your own business. I can also beleive that English is probably their second language.

Successful entrepreneurs are: 1)Psycho 2)Have ADHD 3)Live in the middle of nowhere 4)Are old 5)English may be their second language. This honestly makes a lot of sense. Crazy people are innovative, controlling, demanding, and willing to do whatever it takes to get what they want. I think once they become successful they may move in the middle of nowhere to get away from all the other crazies and to get a hand on that ADHD. Of course they're old. It takes time to get rich. And the foreigners thing, it makes sense. I can't really say anything else without sounding stereotypical.

These were interesting facts regarding entrepreneur traits, I can see where immigrants have a higher percentage of starting their own businesses. They are driven to accomplish and succeed in their new country, so they have more determination to accomplish their goals. These were interesting facts that I am now glad to know.
