I definitely understood the message of the video and how it could be important in business. However I don't know if it would be the approach I would take as a manager. Everyone can't be saved. Moreover, people we should take a chance on people who we believe can be helped. Furthermore their was a religious vibe to the video so that was a bit confusing as well.

I don't feel like this video should be in our links at all it clearly has to do with god and religion and i don't think it is right. Leaving your mark in the world is not just by helping others it is everything you do. Everyone has different morals and judgement and that doesn't make one person better then another. these set of rules he's talking about.... seriously! the set of rules is the 10 commandments and if you follow them you are a good person. hate this video!

Beliefs and views is what makes individuals unique. I would not recommend this video to my peers. Ethical decisions can be different for every individual person in a business. How a person approaches an ethical decision is based upon how they were raised and how they go about doing things. There is no structured outline or regimen that can apply to every ethical situation, it is based upon the individual on each basis.

awesome video, it brings to mind the term butterfly effect, which is how some small action/ habit will have a huge affect on your life over the course of years. like smoking may only cost about $10/day but if you were to add all of that up over the course of a life time you will realize the fortune you could have saved by not smoking. another instance could be the time you wake up, many people may over look this but if you were to wake up about 3 hrs before you start your day whether it be work or school, then you would have an extra 21 hours that you have to devote to taking care of other things that need to be taken care of, like parenting, reading, cleaning, and exercising.

At first I though this video would be great and inspiring, but I found it be boring and unimportant. Everyone should determine what gives their life purpose, someone that provides them with meaning and happiness. No one can create a meaning for your live except for yourself, so having other people describe how to find this defeats the point.

This video brings up a couple of questionable points. I do agree that we should find something that gives is a sense of purpose. Everything you do in life should be done with some sense of purpose. I disagree with the fact that everyone should follow a set standard of rules. If everyone were to follow the same set of rules it would be a travesty. The creativity from individuals would be significantly hindered therefore creating a stagnant and non progressive world.

A purpose driven life is so important. If I think about it on the smallest level, I wake up in the morning, open my eyes, and find the next thing I need to do. What if I woke up and nothing was there. I just go back to sleep. I won't achieve my purpose and I will never help someone. It seems to me that this conversation focused on personal growth. I feel like you need to know your self so you can help others. And maybe you will find yourself by helping others.

I didn't enjoy this video for several reasons. Firstly, this is possibly the most dry and boring human being on this earth (the whisper talking doesn't make you look smarter). Secondly, i'm not a person who measures their life by what a centuries old piece of fiction says I should. I think there are so many ways we should be able to look at ourselves and know if we're leading a good life or not and religion is not the only or the best basis for that. It makes me sad when people equate morality to religion. The two are not mutually exclusive and it frustrates me to think that people make it seem like they are.

I didn't really enjoy this video, however I do feel that it's important to find purpose in your life. Finding purpose gives a reason to live, makes us want to be better and do better in life. Having purpose drives us to set goals and do what we need to do to achieve those goals.

I do not really see how this video relates to business. I am a person of faith, but I think that this video has more to do with leading a life God wants you to live more than a video about finding a purpose. I did enjoy when the speaker said, "Is there something that I can leave the world that is something bigger than me." I found my life purpose on a similar question. But, I just feel like this author speaking in this video is trying to convince everyone to follow God and make it their life's mission. And that is the only way to find your purpose.

Create a Life with Purpose
I agree with the main theme of this video: as individuals we need to identify with what gives our lives meaning and purpose. It is important to find what makes you happy and live life guided by moral compass that points north. In regards to business and people, I agree with Clay. Being a good person or business leader is fundamentally about how you treat and affects the lives of others. As a manager we should realize that behind facts, figures, numbers, and statistics are peoples opinions. I believe in God and I go to Church very often, I try to input my religion in my decisions but am very understanding of other people's beliefs. So, to me my beliefs are a private matter and I rarely bring that up when at work.

I did not like this video at all. The interview was just not interesting and the speaker was very boring. Although I was not fond of the video it did make me think about how will my measure my life. I want to be as productive and successful as I can. Success to me means being able to live comfortably, be in a position to inspire others around me, and be happy.

I like the idea of being able to look at your life and know the course it will turn out and be able to change it,but I really don't know how realistic this is in a sense. I would love to know what's going to happen now and know how my life is going to turn out, but you never know what life is going to throw at you. One single event or situation you encounter can change the course of your life and others in it in an instant and without notice. I do agree that we should always think with our moral compass and this will definitely have a significant impact on our lives, but this is just one factor that can affect our outcomes. So as nice as it would be to know how your life is going to turn out, we can't fully know what's going to happen and sometimes that's when the fun things in life happen is when you least expect it, or when you get thrown a curve ball.

Purpose is the key to living a happy life. When u love what you do you will never have to work a day in your life. That is a true statement because many people find much satisfaction in life enjoying what they do. When a person know there purpose in life they can't be led astray into someone else harbor. Knowing your destiny and living your destiny is very important. because living an unfilled life is not living at all.

This video was really boring and he was very mono toned. But when it comes to beliefs and values, everyone's views are different.
