Steve Jobs was definitely a great innovator and entrepreneur. The way he never stopped working on a project until he felt it was absolutely perfect is remarkable. Although this video did not do much for me I think it could really help struggling entrepreneurs. I am not the innovative type but his work ethic is inspiring.

Steve Jobs Remembered by Larry Ellison (Oracle) and Pixar's Ed Catmull
Steve Jobs obviously learned from his past. In the last few years of his life, you will hear that he became kind and began to care more about those around him. He build his building and created an environment that was great for his workers. He always payed attention to detail and wanted to engineer every aspect. The only he was able to achieve his hard work was the perspiration that he put into his work. His problem solving skills and his mindset in general is what guided him to become the God-like figure that everyone remembers him as.

As others have stated, Steve Jobs was truly an innovator and had unique qualities. He not only focused on the products that he created but he also focused on treating his employees with respect and making sure that the environment at his companies were genuine. He sets the bar high in regards to his leadership skills. Very impressive.

So many times we have an idea but couldn't see it all the way through. Steve Jobs would make it into a complete to market product. He was so smart because he could make that happen. Most people would have an idea and don't know how to carry through with it. Usually we just drop the ball. Steve Jobs had determination to make something better and work for the people. I struggle with follow through when it comes ot most of my pursuits in life. I haven't found the one that gets me to the finish line.

Steve Jobs was obviously an extremely intelligent man and amazing entrepreneur. The success he had stemmed from all the great characteristics he possessed personally and business wise. It's wonderful that people remember him in such a positive light and acknowledge all of his accomplishments, but sometimes it's a little too much. The speakers put Jobs on such a pedestal that it seems impossible to believe anyone else can become such an innovator. Yes, Jobs is the perfect example and role model, but he was just a man who worked hard to achieve his goals.

Apple has done it right! Steve Jobs has created so many jobs. I really enjoy listening to inspiring legends talk business like this. When I finished watching this video, I felt influenced, like I too could one day reach that level of success.

Steve Jobs always tested the boundaries and that has led to great success on his behalf. He created a great culture within his company despite how severe or emotionally eratic his actions were within the workplace. He was a person who never gave up and continued to work toward perfecting his idea. He created a company that relected him. He was innovative, driven, and different. His products were different, innovative, and considered the best to some consumers. Steve Jobs was great at translating his good ideas into finished and great products.

Steve Jobs was good at what he did, he built a wonderful business empire from scratch. But, i think the most important thing from the video was how he matured into an empathetic, visionary, fair and strategic businessman. I believe that Steve got to where he was because he brought a lot of people up with him and that his real gift wasn't just in innovation but also in fair management and creating an environment that allowed those around him to flourish. I honestly think that if leaders gain followers then they need to focus on creating environments where those followers realize their full potential. Basically he became better by enabling the success of those that worked for him.

I'd like to touch on two points from the video; the idea to translate a good idea into a great product and the idea of being a perfectionist. I think being a go-getter who is able to get a job done is a great characteristic that can also help you to be successful. On the other hand, I have never heard anyone say being a perfectionist is a good thing. I thought it was odd how much one of the speakers emphasized this quality about Steve Jobs. Although I think it is good to want to make your product the best it can be, I am not sure of being a perfectionist is the best thing.

Even though Steve Jobs was removed from the very business he created, he still reached a level of success that most of us will strive our whole lives to meet but will never make it. He was a truly intelligent man. Though I am not a bug Apple fan, I can respect Steve Jobs and his impact on society.

While I agree that Steve Jobs is talked about entirely too much, it is difficult to deny the impact he had not just on the customers, but also on other successful companies. What most people seem to forget is that Steve Jobs was denied multiple times and failed even more time. But he was hungry. He never let failure stop him. He learned from his experiences and kept pushing forward. He tried new idea, new concepts, and worked long days and nights until his idea was developed just the way he wanted. Jobs was a very hands on owner and inventor for Apple and I think that is such an important thing. He liked to work - he enjoyed coming up with new ideas and challenging himself to do better, to invent something better. In my opinion, that is his most admirable trait.

Steve Jobs was a very smart and talent man. There are always two sides to every story, and many have said Steve Jobs was hard to work with, while others, like the speaker, said he was very nice. Regardless of the personal contact people had with him, he was very brilliant and innovative in his ideas and his company. Anyone who is an entrepreneur or technological inventory should look at Steve Jobs as an inspiration.

I enjoy seeing others talk about Steve Jobs success. Most things your hear are about how he was a hard person to work with. I however am not a big Apple fan, i prefer Microsoft products.

I don't think the true impact of steve jobs on our everyday way of life is understood yet. As i type this it is on a device he created. The iphone in my pocket was designed by him. Just about any cellphone someone has now is in some way, shape, or form influenced by steve jobs.

Steve Jobs is undeniably a highly intelligent and innovative man of this century. He used his hunger and drive to produce a line of products, Apple, that have dominated the market since the arrival. Steve jobs used his passion, even after dropping out of college, to accomplish life long goals he had set for himself. Being discouraged and even "hitting rock bottom" did not deviate Jobs from his ultimate accomplishment. There is no doubt when you think of the 2000 century technology you will think of Apple and Steve Jobs. I believe innovators can follow in the foot steps of Jobs and be successful on their own paths of discovery.
